FuelTrain supports tracking and education. It cannot assess your health, diagnose a condition, prescribe treatment or replace advice from a qualified professional.
FuelTrain is not an emergency service. For severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, contact emergency services immediately. In the UK, call 999 or 112.
1. General information only
Calorie, macro, protein, hydration, body-composition, weight-change and exercise information is general guidance. Results are estimates based on the information supplied and can differ from your actual needs. No result guarantees weight loss, muscle gain, fitness improvement or any other outcome.
2. Check suitability before making changes
Consider speaking with a GP, registered dietitian, physiotherapist or another suitably qualified professional before beginning or materially changing diet or exercise, especially if you:
- have a medical condition, disability, injury or persistent pain;
- take medication that may affect exercise, appetite, hydration, blood pressure or blood glucose;
- are pregnant, recently gave birth, are under 18 or are an older adult new to exercise;
- have a history of an eating disorder or feel that tracking is becoming distressing or compulsive; or
- have been advised to limit exercise, fluid, calories, protein or another nutrient.
3. Exercise safely
Use suitable equipment and surroundings, learn correct technique, begin at an appropriate level and allow adequate recovery. Exercise demonstrations cannot see your movement, environment or individual limitations. Stop immediately if an activity feels unsafe.
Do not continue exercising through chest pain, fainting, severe or unusual breathlessness, sudden weakness, confusion, a suspected serious injury or other alarming symptoms.
4. Nutrition and weight tracking
Food databases, labels and user-entered foods can contain errors. Calorie and nutrient totals should therefore be treated as estimates. FuelTrain is not designed to manage allergies, medical diets, diabetes, kidney disease or another condition requiring clinical nutrition advice.
Do not use FuelTrain to pursue extreme restriction, dehydration, purging, unsafe supplementation or rapid weight change. Where tracking negatively affects your wellbeing, pause its use and seek appropriate support.
5. User and community content
Community posts and comments are created by users and may be inaccurate. They are not reviewed as medical advice. Do not delay or disregard professional care because of something posted on FuelTrain.
6. Your responsibility
You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable for you, entering accurate information and following professional restrictions that apply to you. Nothing in this disclaimer removes legal rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Contact
Report unsafe or misleading content through the Contact & Support form. For personal medical questions, contact an appropriately qualified healthcare professional rather than FuelTrain support.
