1. Who we are

FuelTrain is the controller of personal information collected through this website and app. Questions or privacy requests can be sent through the Contact & Support form.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use FuelTrain, we may collect:

Some fitness information may reveal or relate to your health. You choose whether to enter it and can remove it using the controls available in your account.

3. Why we use your information

FuelTrain does not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Targets, estimates and insights are informational calculations, not professional decisions about you.

4. Who processes or receives information

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by carefully selected service providers that support hosting, authentication, database storage, email delivery, security, diagnostics or analytics. These providers may only use information to provide their services to FuelTrain and must protect it appropriately.

Community posts, comments and your chosen display name are visible to other signed-in members. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a genuine business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we use an approved transfer mechanism or another lawful safeguard, such as UK adequacy regulations or contractual protections.

6. How long we keep information

Account and tracker information is normally kept while your account is active. When you delete records or your account, information is removed from active use, although limited copies may remain temporarily in secure backups, fraud-prevention records or records we must retain by law. Support and moderation records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the issue, protect the service and meet legal obligations.

7. Security

We use access controls, authenticated accounts and database security rules designed to keep private tracker information separated between users. No internet service can promise absolute security. Use a strong, unique password and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

8. Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your information, and to receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

You can update account details, download your data, clear selected histories and delete your account from Settings. For any other request, use the Contact & Support form. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Cookies and similar storage

FuelTrain may use essential cookies or local storage to keep you signed in, protect the service and remember settings. Optional analytics or advertising technologies should only be used where the required choice or consent has been provided.

10. Complaints

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service, providers or law changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention where appropriate.
